What should you buy over Tennessee’s Sales Tax Holiday this weekend??!!

From 12:01am on Friday, July 26th, to 11:59pm on Sunday, July 28th, certain goods may be purchased tax free in Tennessee! Sales tax in TN can be up to 9.46%, so there are some big savings in store for the weekend. It’s the perfect weekend to get out there and pick up all those things you’ve been putting off buying.

 

 

Here are 9 bigger ticket items to consider buying this weekend. 

 

1.COMPUTERS

Computers under $1,500  are tax exempt over Sales Tax Holiday, including tablets such as iPads! This is probably the most savings you can find!

 

 

 

 

2. FORMAL APPAREL  

Need a new dress for a fall wedding? Or maybe a new bow-tie for work? Formal wear under $100 is tax free!

 

       

 

 

 

 

3. BOOTS

Work boots, cowboy boots, rain boots, any kind of boots are tax exempt this weekend! Must be under $100 when sold as a pair.

 

     

 

 

 

 

 

4. DIAPERS

Diapers are expensive! Take advantage of getting them a little cheaper this weekend and stock up!!
